WHAT IS FASCIA STRETCH THERAPY?

Fascia Stretch Therapy (FST) is a gentle, assisted stretching method that works with your body’s connective tissue system (fascia) to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore natural movement.

Unlike traditional stretching that focuses on muscles, FST targets the entire fascial system, helping your body move more freely and efficiently.

WHO IS FST FOR?

FST is beneficial for people of all ages and activity levels, including:

  • Those experiencing chronic pain or tension

  • Athletes and active individuals of all levels

  • People recovering from injury or surgery

  • Anyone wanting to improve mobility, posture, or movement quality

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST FST SESSION?

Consultation
We begin with a focused conversation to understand your body’s medical history, physical activity, & goals for your session.

Assessment
Subtle movement assessments help identify areas of restriction, imbalance, and compensation.

Treatment
You’ll relax on a treatment table while your body is guided through smooth, assisted, pain-free stretches. The work is rhythmic & intentional, designed to release fascial restrictions and restore fluid, effortless movement.

After Your Session
Most clients feel lighter, more open, and deeply relaxed. Mild soreness is possible.

Hydration with electrolytes is recommended before & after.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Wear comfortable, flexible clothing (shorts, sweatpants, T-shirt, leggings, athletic wear).

Avoid restrictive or bulky clothing.

WHAT DOES IT FEEL LIKE?

FST is gentle and should not be painful. Most clients describe it as relaxing with feelings of stretch, release, & increased ease of movement.

Any pain or pinching must be communicated so the practitioner can adjust to eliminate any discomfort.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

  • Reduced pain and tension

  • Improved mobility & flexibility

  • Better posture & movement patterns

  • Enhanced recovery & performance

  • Nervous system relaxation
